India’s defence exports have reached an all-time high of Rs 15, 920 crore in FY 2022-2023. Terming it as a clear manifestation of India’s talent and the enthusiasm towards Make in India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that Government will keep supporting efforts to make India a defence production hub. The major defence equipment exported during last 05 years include Weapon Simulators, Tear Gas Launcher, Torpedo Loading Mechanism, Alarm Monitoring & Control, Night Vision Monocular & Binocular, Light Weight Torpedo & Fire Control Systems, Armoured Protection Vehicle, Weapons Locating Radar, HF Radio, Coastal Surveillance Radar etc. In the last few years, the government has taken a series of measures to promote domestic defence production and boost defence exports.
