It has been almost 10 months of the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. It was on 24 February this year when Russian president Vladimir Putin announced a special military operation aiming for the demilitarisation of Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, India has consistently called for immediate cessation of hostilities and an end to violence. India has called upon both sides to return to the path of diplomacy and dialogue, and also expressed its support for all diplomatic efforts to end the conflict.
In a phone conversation on Friday Prime Minister Modi reiterated his message that dialogue and diplomacy is the only way forward in the Ukraine crisis.
Today we will discuss and analyse the way forward towards resolving the Russia – Ukraine conflict.
