Global geopolitical has evolved quickly in the past one month culminating with the start of Russian Ukraine conflict on 24th February after all efforts at negotiation made little headway. Analysts say this conflict will lead to a renewed geopolitical rivalry between western powers and Russia and contribute to a new kind of geopolitical complexity in both Europe and Asia. The last few days have also brought some dramatic foreign policy shifts in the last 30 years. Germany has announced an ambitious programme of rearmament by raising its defense spending to the 2%-of-GDP, Finland and Sweden have joined the group of countries supplying arms to Ukraine in the ongoing conflict.
