प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कहा है कि जून के महीने में, स्वदेशी सी-295 विमान की पहली उड़ान के साथ ही भारत ने विमानन क्षेत्र में एक बड़ी सफलता हासिल की है। आज आकाशवाणी से मन की बात कार्यक्रम में उन्होंने कहा कि इस समय देश में ऐसे 40 और विमान बनाए जा रहे हैं। श्री मोदी ने कहा कि इससे सूक्ष्म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यम क्षेत्र और एयरोस्पेस क्षेत्र को तेजी मिल रही है, रोजगार के नए अवसर सृजित हो रहे हैं और आत्मनिर्भर भारत का संकल्प मजबूत हो रहा है।
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi said that India achieved a major milestone in the aviation sector in June with the maiden flight of the first indigenously manufactured C-295 aircraft. Speaking during today’s Mann Ki Baat programme on All India Radio, he said that 40 more such aircraft are currently being manufactured in the country. Shri Modi added that this initiative is accelerating the growth of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector and the aerospace industry, creating new employment opportunities, and strengthening the vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India).
