केंद्र सरकार के गृह मंत्रालय ने 22 जून 2026 को एक गैजेट अधिसूचना जारी कर FCRA नियमों में बड़ा संशोधन किया है। इस नए संशोधन का मुख्य उद्देश्य गैर-सरकारी संगठनों (NGOs) को मिलने वाले विदेशी चंदे में पारदर्शिता बढ़ाना और इसके दुरुपयोग को रोकना है।संशोधित नियमों के तहत अब NGOs के लिए विदेशी फंडिंग प्राप्त करना और उसका इस्तेमाल करना काफी कड़ा कर दिया गया है।
