Legislative Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in Himachal Pradesh on 12 November to elect 68 members of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly. Campaigning ended on Thursday at 5.00 p.m. Star campaigners of all political parties have been canvasing to garner votes for their candidates. The state is set to see an electoral contest between the BJP, Congress and debutante Aam Aadmi Party. The previous assembly elections were held in November 2017. After the election, the BJP formed the government, with Jai Ram Thakur becoming Chief Minister. The votes will be counted and the results will be declared on 8 December 2022.
