India Maritime Week 2025 being held in Mumbai is India’s premier global maritime event. Organised from 27th to 31st October under the theme “Uniting Oceans, One Maritime Vision”, the event showcases India’s strategic roadmap to emerge as a global maritime hub and a leader in the Blue Economy. The five-day global gathering brings together over one lakh participants from 85 countries, highlighting India’s maritime resurgence and its vision to become a global maritime leader by 2047. The event was inaugurated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Mumbai on October 27, marking the start of the world’s largest maritime gathering. Prime Minister Modi addressed the Maritime Leaders Conclave and chaired the Global Maritime CEO Forum, where he spoke about India’s maritime transformation, international collaborations, and ambitions for the Blue Economy.
