Tripurari Sharan, the former Chief Secretary of Bihar and the current State Chief Information Commissioner, is also a distinguished filmmaker celebrated for his distinctive storytelling and profound cultural insights. His work in cinema and television has garnered significant acclaim. Additionally, Sharan has held prestigious positions as Director of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune and as Director General of Doordarshan.
Presented by Dr. Gautam Choubey, ‘Likhawat’ is a show about the books of Bharat – published in different parts of the country, yet rooted in the singularity of Indian ethos. Each episode of Likhawat will take up a book of national resonance and will feature a special guest who is privy to the intimate story of the book as it was imagined, written, published and read.
