The programme looks at the AXIOM 4 MISSION to the International Space Station. Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla piloted the Axiom 4 Mission to the ISS. 41 years after Rakesh Sharma’s historic journey, Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla became only the second Indian to travel through space. The Mission is also known as the AKASH GANGA MISSION.
The programme looks into the importance of Axiom 4 Mission for the GAGANYAAN MISSION which India has planned, to follow in the near future. Shubhashu Shukla is one of the four astronauts selected for the Gaganyaan Mission.
