अयोध्या में रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के 673 दिनों बाद शिखर ध्वजारोहण उत्सव संपंन हो गया। इस अवसर पर प्रधानमंत्री ने अयोध्या में रोड शो के बाद सप्तऋषियों, शेषावतार लक्ष्मण के दर्शन किए। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने गर्भगृह में राललला की पूजा-अर्चना की एवं आरती उतारी। इस विशिष्ट अवसर पर RSS प्रमुख डॉ. मोहन भागवत भी उनके साथ मौजूद रहे। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने अभिजीत मुहूर्त में श्रीराम मंदिर में शिखर ध्वजारोहण किया।
