Unique Polling Booth in India. Bitra Island is the smallest inhabited island in its  territory. It’s tiny, with a land area of only 0.105 sq km (0.04 sq mi). Bitra boasts a much larger lagoon area of 45.61 sq km (17.61 sq mi). The island is 483 km (261 nautical miles) away from Kochi, India. Its location is precisely 11° 36′ N latitude and 72° 11′ E longitude. Before 1835, Bitra was a popular hunting ground for seabirds. The island holds a shrine dedicated to Malik Mulla, a revered Arab Saint. Bitra’s climate mirrors that of Kerala, with hot summers (25-35°C). The island receives a substantial amount of rainfall.

 

Sansad Television is the Parliamentary channel of India. It was created in 2021 by merging Lok Sabha Television and Rajya Sabha Television.
