ब्रिटेन की प्रधानमंत्री लिज़ ट्रस ने पद से इस्तीफ़ा दे दिया है। उनका इस्तीफा कंज़र्वेटिव पार्टी के सांसदों के बग़ावत के बाद हुआ। लिज़ ट्रस ने कहा है कि जब तक नया नेता नहीं चुन लिया जाता वो कार्यकारी प्रधानमंत्री के पद पर बनी रहेंगी। सत्तारूढ़ कंजरवेटिव पार्टी के लगभग 100 ब्रिटिश सांसद ट्रस के खिलाफ हैं।
