Beginning his journey at the age of seven under the guidance of his father, Shri Buddha Singh Jogi, Gafaruddin Ji has kept alive the magnificent oral epic Pandun Ka Kada—a musical narration of the Mahabharata. Today, he is believed to be the only living artist who remembers all 2,500+ couplets of this extraordinary tradition.
