India – also known as Bharat – is the world’s largest democracy. A nation proud to be called the Mother of Democracy.
Around 75 years ago, when India broke free from the chains of colonial rule, it needed a new path, a new vision. That path was lit by the Constitution of India — our guiding light, our living document.
Crafted under the leadership of Dr. BR Ambedkar, the Constitution laid the foundation for a just, equal, and inclusive nation. It promised that no matter where we are born, every Indian would enjoy equal rights and equal opportunities. It declared that every citizen is equal – in rights, in duties, and in dignity.
