If you are preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Exam, understanding CSAT is very important. CSAT, introduced in 2011, is an integral part of the UPSC examination process. It comprises of two compulsory papers: General Studies and Aptitude Test. While General Studies evaluates a candidate’s knowledge in diverse fields, the Aptitude Test assesses their logical reasoning and analytical abilities. The inclusion of CSAT was aimed to bring about a comprehensive evaluation of candidates’ suitability for civil services.
