Leopard-human conflict arises from the increasing overlap between leopard habitats and human settlements due to urban sprawl and agriculture, leading to increased predation on livestock and occasional attacks on humans, particularly children. Factors contributing to this conflict include shrinking wild prey availability, easily accessible domestic animals, and human presence in leopard habitats. To mitigate this, solutions involve better management of urban waste, improved security for livestock, community-based conservation efforts, and avoiding the impulsive capture of leopards, which can escalate conflict by creating a power vacuum filled by other animals
