But they are seriously threatened by the global climate change resulting in increase in ocean temperature and acidification ….Experts say that in the last three decades the planet has lost 25-50 per cent of our live coral worldwide.If such current trends continue it will lead to critical thresholds….It is an urgent wake up call for all of us to rapidly reduce anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions.
