Union Minister for I&B Anurag Thakur in his address informed the audience about the gradual expansion of the Mann Ki Baat broadcast from the initial Hindi language only to subsequently the English version starting from 31st January, 2016 and Sanskrit version from 28th May, 2017. The Minister added that Mann Ki Baat is now broadcast in 23 languages and 11 foreign languages.
