To The Point: Director Adoor Gopalakrishnan in conversation with Dr Shashi Tharoor

In this episode, Dr Shashi Tharoor interviews Adoor Gopalakrishnan, considered by many as the greatest living Indian film maker. Adoor had keen interest in theater from childhood and joined FTII in 1962. After passing out, Adoor had to struggle for seven years to make his first feature film . His first film, Swayamvaram (1972) went on to win four National Awards. This has never happened before and after for a debut film. In his conversation with Dr Tharoor, Adoor Gopalakrishan gives his views on varied issues from his contemporaries to the dire state of theaters today. He has an interesting take on subjects varying from his films to the OTT platform and censorship.
