Reviewing the progress of the construction of Chenab bridge, world’s highest rail arch bridge, Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw conducted the trolly inspection of the rail line and the tunnels of the Kashmir rail link project.
The bridge is part of the prestigious and much awaited Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Railway Link (USBRL) project aimed at connecting Kashmir with the rest of the country by train.The project is crucial as its completion would connect Kashmir Valley with the rest of the country.
