The Budget Session of Parliament, 2023 commenced on January 31st with President DraupdI Murmu’s address. The first part concluded on February 13th. The Session will reconvene on 13th March after a month-long recess. The recess allows department-related standing committees to examine demands for grants of various ministries. The Finance Bill and related demands for grants are passed in the second phase of the Budget session. The session is expected to conclude on April 6th.
