The 10th edition of India- Sri Lanka Joint Military Exercise MITRA SHAKTI commenced, at Army Training School, Maduru Oya, Sri Lanka. The Exercise is scheduled to be conducted from 12th to 25th August 2024. The Exercise aims at enhancing interoperability and mutual understanding between both the Armed forces and provides an opportunity to further deepen the close defence relationship based on professional respect, personal bonding and extensive training interaction. The exercise helps in building proficiency in tackling transnational terrorism, conduct of joint tactical operations and building combat skills. It also provides an ideal platform for sharing of each other’s experiences and learning from best practices being followed.
Sansad Television is the Parliamentary channel of India. It was created in 2021 by merging Lok Sabha Television and Rajya Sabha Television.
