The Government in 2020 opened up the Indian Space Sector for the private sector in order to enhance the diffusion of space technology and boost space economy within the country.
As a part of the reforms, the government has created ‘Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre’ (IN-SPACe) which will provide a level playing field for private companies to use Indian space infrastructure.
