The Budget 2025-26 focuses on inclusive growth by prioritizing agriculture, MSMEs, exports, and infrastructure development as key engines of growth. Key highlights include: Agriculture: Despite a 2.75% budget cut, reforms aim for long-term growth, crop diversification, and doubling farmers’ incomes by 2028. Rural Jobs: The ‘Gramin Samriddhi Program’ will create 50 lakh rural jobs through technical training and skill development. Farm Credit: Kisan Credit Card (KCC) limit increased from ₹3 lakh to ₹5 lakh, providing farmers affordable credit at a 4% interest rate. Fisheries & Dairy: A 3.7% budget boost will modernize fisheries, enhance rural employment, and improve marine exports. MSMEs: Additional financial aid and subsidies aim to improve small businesses, create jobs, and enhance competitiveness. This budget emphasizes rural development, women’s empowerment, and global competitiveness to achieve long-term growth goals.
