Paper leaks and some form of malpractice are a common occurrence when it comes to exams in our country. Over the years we have seen several recruitment exams under scrutiny and the process being put on hold or scrapped due to some form of cheating. A high-level committee headed by former ISRO chairman K Radhakrishnan was constituted last year to look into this menace and come up with a possible solution.The seven-member
panel suggested some key recommendations, which include implementing a hybrid examination model, reducing dependency on outsourced services and private test centres, and, the development of a ‘Digi Exam’ platform, which draws inspiration from the Digi Yatra initiative. These were just a few recommendations made by the committee in its extensive 184-page
report.
