Special Interview with Wolfgang Sobotka, President, National Council of Austrian Parliament & Christine Schwarz-Fuchs, President, Federal Council of the Austrian Parliament
As you may be aware, a high-level parliamentary delegation from Austria is currently on a visit to India. Led by Mr. Wolfgang Sobotka, President of the National Council and Ms. Christine Schwarz-Fuchs, President of the Federal Council of the Austrian Parliament, the delegation arrived in India on 13th March on a five-day-long visit. During the course of this official visit, they witnessed proceedings in both Houses of Parliament, traveled to Hyderabad and watched proceedings in the Telangana Legislative Assembly…held meetings with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, and also visited the iconic Taj Mahal in Agra. As they wind up their India visit, we’ve got the opportunity to interact with them about how their trip to the country has been. We’ll try and understand from them what have been the key takeaways for them from this visit.
