STATEMENTS BY MINISTERS

(i) SHRI JITIN PRASADA to make the statement regarding Status of implementation of Observations/ Recommendations contained in the One Hundred and Ninetieth Report of the Department related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Commerce on Demands for Grants (2025-26), Demand No. 11 pertaining to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade.

(ii) SHRI KAMLESH PASWAN to make the statement regarding Status of implementation of Observations/ Recommendations contained in the First Report of the Department related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Rural Development and Panchayati Raj on Demands for Grants (2024-25) pertaining to the Ministry of Rural Development, Department of Rural Development.

(iii) SHRI BHAGIRATH CHOUDHARY to make the statement regarding Status of implementation of Observations/ Recommendations contained in the Eighth Report of the Department related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Food Processing on Demands for Grants (2025-26) pertaining to the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Department of Agricultural Research and Education.

STATEMENT REGARDING GOVERNMENT BUSINESS

1. L. MURUGAN to make a Statement regarding Government Business for the remaining part of the 268th Session.

MOTION FOR APPOINTMENT TO SERVE ON THE JOINT COMMITTEE ON THE CONSTITUTION (ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-NINTH AMENDMENT) BILL, 2024 AND THE UNION TERRITORIES LAWS (AMENDMENT) BILL, 2024

1. L. MURUGAN to move the following Motion:— “That this House concurs in the recommendation of the Lok Sabha that the Rajya Sabha do appoint one Member to the Joint Committee on the Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-Ninth Amendment) Bill, 2024 and the Union Territories Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2024 in the vacancy caused by the retirement of Shri P. Wilson from the membership of the Rajya Sabha and communicate to the Lok Sabha the name of the Member so appointed by the Rajya Sabha to the Joint Committee and resolves that Shri P. Wilson, be appointed to the said Joint Committee to fill the vacancy.”
