Following the adjournment of both Houses of Parliament sine die last week, Members of Parliament have gone back to their respective constituencies. This is the time, in between sessions, that the parliamentarians utilise to engage with the electorate. It is through these interactions that the MPs get to know about the needs and concerns of the people in their constituency, enabling them to fulfil these needs.
One instrument that helps MPs in this task is the MPLAD Scheme.
