Dr. Sonal Mansingh, was nominated by President of India to Rajya Sabha the Upper House of Indian Parliament in July 2018 in recognition of her life-long dedication and service to India’s arts. She is the recipient of highest civilian awards of Padma Vibhushan (2003) and Padma Bhushan (1992) from President of India.
