Parliamentary diplomacy is an instrument of dialogue between Parliaments which, in recent years, has increasingly engaged the attention of the world. Parliamentarians today have a greater interest and involvement in international relations. They also have a global mindset on issues like food security, climate change, terrorism, gender issues, to name but a few. In this programme Sansad TV will showcase how India is leveraging the transformative power of parliamentary diplomacy to shape a more harmonious and peaceful world.
Sansad Television is the Parliamentary channel of India. It was created in 2021 by merging Lok Sabha Television and Rajya Sabha Television.
