देश के उपराष्ट्रपति और राज्य सभा के चेयरमैन माननीय जगदीप धनखड़ की पहल पर शुरु किए गए राज्य सभा इन्टर्नशिप कार्यक्रम के इंटर्नशिप का दूसरा सत्र बीते महीने 28 नवंबर को शुरु हुआ था और इसका समापन गत 8 दिसंबर 2023 को समाप्त हुआ… राज्य सभा इंटर्नशिप कार्यक्रम की अवधि दो सप्ताह के लिए निर्धारित है… और इस बार के सत्र में देश के 7 विश्विविद्यालयों जिनमें तमिलनाडु केन्द्रीय विश्वविद्यालय, केरल केन्द्रीय विश्वविद्यालय, बिरला इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी एंड साइंस–पिलानी (बिट्स–पिलानी) गोवा हैदराबाद कैंपस, जोधपुर नेशनल लॉ यूनिवर्सिटी, पोर्ट ब्लेयर जवाहरलाल नेहरू राजकीय महाविद्यालय, पोर्ट ब्लेयर अंदमान लॉ कॉलेज और लद्दाख विश्वविद्यालय के 26 छात्रों का चयन किया गया था

The Second Rajya Sabha Internship Programme (RSIP-2)

First RSIP was launched from 31July-11 Aug 2023 with 20 students from 5 NE States.
26 students from seven select Universities:
1. Central University of Tamil Nadu;
2. Central University of Kerala;
3. Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani (including Goa and
Hyderabad campus);
4. National Law University, Jodhpur;
5. Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya (JNRM), Port Blair;
6. Andaman Law College, Port Blair; and
7. University of Ladakh
Students from Andaman & Nicobar Islands arrived at midnight due to flight delay.
Students visited Rashtrapati Bhavan, Bharat Mandapam and Pradhan Mantri
Sangrahalaya on Saturday. Sunday was a break.
Interns attached to the Department–related Standing Committees of Rajya Sabha
Secretariat for exposure and first-hand insight into the working of the Committees.
Interaction with HC, HDC and their state MPs from Rajya Sabha/ Lok Sabha
Research themes provided by the HC on the first day. All Universities have given a
research title.
Presentation on research paper to be made on last day, ie. 8
th Dec 2023.
