Born in Gudlavalleru, Andhra Pradesh, Prof. Sastry’s journey began with Rigveda studies at Tirupati and evolved into a lifetime dedicated to Sanskrit, Vedanta, Indian philosophy, and cultural heritage. A former Vice-Chancellor of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan and Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, he has played a pivotal role in strengthening Sanskrit education and research in India and abroad.
