In this exclusive interview, meet one of India’s most celebrated Kuchipudi exponents Deepika Reddy, whose lifelong dedication to Indian classical dance has now been honoured with the prestigious Padma Shri. From beginning her dance journey at the age of 6 to becoming an internationally acclaimed performer, choreographer and guru, Deepika Reddy has played a monumental role in preserving and promoting the rich tradition of Kuchipudi. A recipient of the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, former Chairperson of the Telangana State Sangeet Natak Akademi, and founder of Deepanjali, she has trained hundreds of students and carried Indian classical dance to global stages including Khajuraho, Konark, Ayodhya, Russia, Berlin, Bangkok, South Korea and more.
