STATUTORY RESOLUTION
SHRIMATI NIRMALA SITHARAMAN to move the following Resolution:— “In pursuance of section 3B of the Central Excise Act, 1944 read with section 147 of the Finance Act, 2002, this House hereby approves of notification No. 07/2026- Central Excise dated 26th March, 2026 [G.S.R. 2006 (E), 26th March, 2026], which seeks to amend the Eighth Schedule to the Finance Act, 2002 in order to levy Special Additional Excise Duty on Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) [HS 2710] and prescribe a rate of Rs 50 per litre on ATF.”
