Lok Sabha has passed a resolution suspending eight members of the Opposition for “creating a ruckus” during the discussion in the Budget Session of Parliament. The suspended Congress MPs are Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, Gurdeep Singh Aujla, Hibi Eden, Dean Kuriakose, Prashant Padole, Kiran Kumar Reddy, S. Venkataraman, and Manickam Tagore. The resolution noted that they raised slogans and strewn torn paper bits in the Well of the House.
