Vice-President unveiled the idol of Acharya Shri Shantisagar Maharaj Ji at Shravanabelagola,Karnataka……He praised his pivotal role in reviving the Digambara tradition, and said that his life embodies the timeless Jain ideals of Ahimsa, Aparigraha, and Anekantavada.
He emphasized that these ideals are crucial for fostering peace and harmony in today’s world. Vice-President highlighted the spiritual significance of Shravanabelagola, referring to the monumental statue of Lord Bahubali and recalling Emperor Chandragupta Maurya’s renunciation after being influenced by Jain ideals.
