Union Home Minister Amit Shah moves The Constitution (One Hundred and Thirtieth Amendment) Bill, 2025; the Government of Union Territories (Amendment) Bill, 2025 and the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Amendment) Bill, 2025. That this House concurs in the recommendation of the Lok Sabha that this House do join in the Joint Committee of the Houses on the Bill further to amend the Constitution of India; the Bill further to amend the Government of Union Territories Act, 1963 and the Bill further to amend the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019 and resolves that ten Members of this House be nominated by the Deputy Chairman to serve on the said Join Committee
10 Members of Rajya Sabha to be nominated by Hon‟ble Deputy Chairman;
That in order to constitute a sitting of the Joint Committee the quorum shall be, as near as may be, one-third of the total number of members of the Joint Committee; that the Committee shall make a report to this House by the last day of the first week of the next session; The Constitution (One Hundred and Thirtieth Amendment) Bill, 2025; the Government of Union Territories (Amendment) Bill, 2025 and the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Amendment) Bill,
