Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda moves The Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order (Third Amendment) Bill, 2022 in Lok Sabha. Lok Sabha passes the bill that the following amendments made by Rajya Sabha in the Bill further to amends the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 1950 to provide for inclusion of certain communities in the list of Scheduled Tribes in relation to the State of Himachal Pradesh be taken into consideration ALSO to move that the amendments made by Rajya Sabha be agreed to. The Bill was passed by Lok Sabha on the 16th December, 2022, and transmitted to Rajya Sabha for its concurrence. Rajya Sabha passed the Bill with amendments at its sitting held on the 26th July, 2023 and returned it to Lok Sabha on the same day.
