ribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda moves The Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order (Fifth Amendment) Bill, 2022 Lok Sabha Passes the bill that the following amendments made by Rajya Sabha in the Bill further to amends the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 1950 for inclusion of certain communities in the list of Scheduled Tribes in relation to the State of Chhattisgarh be taken into consideration. ALSO to moves that the amendments made by Rajya Sabha be agreed to.
The Bill was passed by Lok Sabha on the 21st December, 2022, and transmitted to Rajya Sabha for its concurrence. Rajya Sabha passed the Bill with amendments at its sitting held on the 25th July, 2023 and returned it to Lok Sabha on the same day.
