As it is known that 7thMay is World Athletics Day and our athletes have brought laurels to the country by winning medals in Olympic, Asiad, Commonwealth competitions held in recent years. In this context, they have also got the benefit of the new sports policies of the Central Government. To raise the level of sports in the country, the government has started a sports university in Manipur and work is underway on many such sports universities.
